So far....
After that epic afternoon in Wyoming catching that Nader... We had cells that were moving into Western Nebraska via Kimball County, and we were way to far away to catch up to from the south.
We had to get to Scottsbluff to intercept these next 2 cells that were merging and would go on to produce a tornado south of Scottsbluff. No speeding and safely getting us to the east of Scottsbluff towards the city of Minatar Nebraska.
Pointing my camera to the southwest, I decided to get some incredible panoramic views of this tornadic supercell.

South Central Nebraska, early May 2012. No chasing this day due to work late. Afternoon Storms were predicted that afternoon & evening. Slow movers they were to be.
Off work & I was in luck. The dryline had stalled right over south central Nebraska that afternoon & the explosion of billowing thunderheads erupted. Billowing picturesque Thunderheads. Some of the most photogenic cells I caught in 2012.
Wicked Photogenic Severe Storms developing just to my east and & another batch of developing severe storms right over my head & moving the northeast. What a afternoon of Light & Severe Storms... Click Click Click!!!!

Early September 2023...
Gear Packed & Primed! Drove west from Kearney out to Lexington Nebraska area. Once the warnings started to fire out in West Central Nebraska. It was time to do my thing. It was to see one of the last supercells of the summer of 2023 & I wasn't gonna miss out. This truly had incredible, beautiful structure. Was tornado warned & had all the right elements for what I do.
No I didn't see a Tor-nader that day. I got a few snaps of what I think was a wall cloud to the cell northwest of my location.
I was there for the structure & I got those incredible snaps... It is what I came for!
*** PERSONAL NOTE***
I travel a lot of roads LESS TRAVELED than most in Nebraska due to what I do. After the Lexington Nebraska event.. I had to shoot back a few miles due my proximity to the storm.
As I traveled west then south from Overton Nebraska .. Via Nebraska Road "748" heading west. My normal spot was taken due to harvesting from the farmers. Cows were in my favorite spot. So a drove a few miles to the west. I had been by here about 1000+ times but never realized there there was an historical marker here.
So unknowingly, as I pulled into this little area with no power-lines I found a new place to take snaps but it has some historical value. Thought I would add this link for those of you that are curious about this Famous Nebraska Historical Marker.

Adrienne gathered a few things, having no idea what might be needed or for how long. She pulled on her sweatshirt, her mind still swimming with unanswered questions.
“Who are they—the men that are after me… us?”
Kayla met her gaze, her expression serious. “I’ll explain everything soon. But they’re not men. They only look that way so they can be among humans can hide what they really are. They can look any way they like”
Adrienne swallowed hard.
“Then… what are they?”
Kayla hesitated, just for a moment. “They’re descendants of the Earth’s original inhabitants. In their true form, they’re reptilian—very dangerous, cunning, and completely ruthless.” She exhaled sharply. “They want the power the VDD gives us, but the device doesn’t work for them. They need a jumper—like us—to operate it.”
Adrienne’s pulse quickened. “And you said I was ‘one of us.’ What does that mean?”
Kayla’s focus remained locked on the window, scanning the street outside. “Forget everything you think you know about history and the story of mankind. Our ancestors arrived on earth millions of years ago—long before recorded history. You’re living in the fourth great civilization. But the reptilians… they control almost everything again.”
“You, I, are both are of the ancient bloodline of the Jahri.”, continued Kayla. “Only people like us can access the power of the VDD”.
Before Adrienne could process the revelation, both girls sensed danger. Then the sudden creak of the back door shattered the moment.
Both girls spun around.
“They’re here!” Kayla hissed. “Time to jump. Take my hand—just like before!”
And in an instant, they vanished.

He fought quietly, and we fought with him.
His body was smaller and more fragile than it should have been, his past and true age unknown.
Hidden illness, surgery, and complications followed—things no one could see at first.
We did everything we could, but his little body couldn’t go on.
He passed away peacefully, loved and held.
I am deeply heartbroken.
We had so much hope.
After losing my mother just two months ago, this came during an already difficult time.
I’ve always shared openly—this is simply part of that.
In time, I will share a few more images of Mochi.
There aren’t many—everything happened so suddenly.

Once a year a pull out a few sets from years past to start of the new year. In 2024 this year I have went back & revamped one of my favorite severe storms photo shoots of 2018
Back then I over colorized & over saturated the images. Pixelated & not my best work... Images were what I wanted but not the final product. If you want to see those to compare to these remastered images... here is your Flickr Link to that set of images...

About that evening...
An epic night of sunset light and storm light @ twilight. Its almost every storm chasers dreams... or at least, in my own opinion, to get along side of a storm like this, as its firing away some incredible CC & CG every few seconds. What more could you ask for...
I was that Lucky Guy that evening. Just mother nature and I. Close to home after a few long storm chasing jaunts is just fine by me. She was producing and I was capturing every incredible second of this storm.. No Forking Bolt went away that evening without me getting a snap of its presence..

There are many better shortie pictures than this one for quality but I'm posting to share the thrill of seeing one very close to dusk quartering a Norfolk field. The yellow is rape and the green - guess what - grass. I watched it for about 10 minutes until it was so dark that I could no longer follow it. I was actually trying to track barn owls and saw none - but went home very happy.

I would actually love to know if the crew on the former "original" Springfield Terminal Ry actually had to pay the 15 cent toll while crossing the shared bridge on Rte 11 between Charlestown, NH and Springfield, VT. This medium format negative from the winter of 1974 shows 44 tonner number 1 toting one single load of salt for the Springfield, VT highway department, as a line of cars have no choice but to follow the leader. This shot is number 3 of the 5 photos of this station I will be posting. For the first two, please visit my album called 'Station Arnhem'.
These stairs go up from the level below the platforms. While these stairs are not as new as the other main area of the station, they are still part of the new concept.
It was my idea to have a photo without any people in it. Hence, as there are always people going to the trainplatforms, I had to use a long exposure. The fact that the escalators look like slides (proper mindjoke!), is a bonus!

The street lamps, the solitude of that hour, the environment, the history of this place make it all very special for me..... I hope this little explanation of what you are seeing is a little special for you too.
This image was taken in my beloved city of Girona, more specifically in the old Jewish quarter. Those of you who follow me assiduously here on Flickr, know of my love for this city and its historical streets...
I'm going to tell you a little bit about how this image was taken to put it in context;
It was about 8 o'clock in the morning, a cold winter morning, I was already walking and photographing here, I do it very often, because I really love it and enjoy it a lot, these streets already know me... it's a real maze of narrow streets and corners with little light. This street in particular, is one of the widest there is, but some could not practically pass two people together. In this case, I was coming down one of those narrow streets that went perpendicular to this one, and in the distance I saw a woman crossing (she didn't see me, or at least I think she didn't) so, without making too much noise. I slowly walked down my street until I got to this one, I let her walk and I stopped in the middle of the street and saw that she was walking right down the middle, not even in my best dreams would this happen! It was great for my photography! Did she know I was there? Was it a game for her, the fact of not going out of that lane you see, while going to work? or wherever she went? ...the truth is I have no idea, but it was perfect for me!
I recognize that it takes courage to walk alone on these streets in this world today, where there is so much madness ... that woman and her courage inspired me and made my day ....
These next words you will read are not only for this brave woman, but for all the brave ones out there and for all the ones that will be very soon....

I had a very enjoyable visit with my grandson to this amazing place, The Barker Comic and Cartoon Museum! From Vintage 1930s Mickey Mouse Toothpaste to a 1:1 Scale Replica of the Hulk, every toy you’ve ever played with (or dreamed of) is displayed amongst the 88,000+ antique toys and collectibles within the Barker Character, Comic, and Cartoon Museum. Official Museum for Celebriducks, California Raisins, and Gumby! I shot a bunch of shots, all with a cell phone (not like me, I know) and most were behind glass cabinets. What a trip with so many memories to enjoy! I hope you'll also enjoy seeing some of the shots I walked away with, and more will follow...no car shots today :))

With this photo I was the absolute winner at the 2013 National Geographic Italia Photography Contest in the "Nature and Landscapes" category. You can see my winning photo on National Geographic Italia website.
Genoa, Italy. It was a sunny day around the city of Genoa. The bad weather had preferred to remain beyond the borders. I decided to go to the Monument of Quarto dei Mille for taking some photo, from that place I could enjoy the sunset in its majestic beauty. It was about 5:00 pm when the sun began to set towards the west, the sunrays were very direct and there was an intense sunlight, it was not the right time to photograph. But the sky darkened suddenly, clouds coming from the south-east headed toward the coast, the weather changed.
From an immense bank of clouds was born a thin waterspout, until it became something powerful. Everything was changing in two minutes, crazy. The waterspout became increasingly large and the power of the wind was starting to feel even on the beach. I positioned the tripod on the rocks, something unique and unrepeatable was happening before my eyes. After a while the darkness would have fallen on the coast of Genoa. The clouds had brought along a special power supply, a lightning storm on the horizon became like the cherry on the cake. I would just point and shoot. Everything was so perfect, just so perfect.
